Our staff at some of our bases are taking part in The Push Challenge: 2,000 pushups in 23 days!
We’re doing this to raise money for The Canadian Mental Health Association! If you see some really fit engineers, pilots, administration team members at our bases (or maybe some really tired version of them) over the next few weeks, it’s all for a good cause!
If you do need support, you can call 211 if you’re in Alberta or call 604-688-3234 if you’re in British Columbia. If you’re thinking about suicide you can call or text 988 (toll-free) from anywhere in Canada. Help is there if you need it. You are never alone.

With really cold temperatures across Western Canada, we figured we’d show you what it looks like when a helicopter flies in these very cold conditions!
In case you were wondering; All that “snow” coming off the blades in the first video isn’t actually snow, it’s all the moisture in the very, very cold air being pushed around by the “blade tip vortices.” The Heli is creating its own mini winter storm!

Through your help, we aim to offset greenhouse gas emissions generated from our tourism flights. For an optional $2 (per person) one tree will be planted in Canada with our collaboration with One Tree Planted and the remaining funds will be invested in Gold Standard carbon offsets

A formidable team of Heli rescue pilots spread from Canmore to Golden with a staggering 80+ years of combined flying experience in the area. If you scroll through the pictures you’ll see pictures of two who were flying tours in the Canmore Area a few moons ago!
These remarkable individuals have dedicated their lives to ensuring the safety and well-being of others. Their courage knows no bounds as they navigate the unpredictable skies, facing challenges head-on to truly make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Alpine’s Kelowna base is being used as staging grounds for British Columbia Forest Service and other agencies who are providing direct fire suppression relief support: Horizon Helicopters, @Highterrian, @TopFlight, @Airspan, @Bighorn, @whitetoothheli and more during the McDougall Creek Wildfires’.
With many of our own employees being impacted, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the many phone calls we have received as well as the communities drop off items, including fresh fruit from local Farmers in Kelowna, delicious bread from @AlchemyBreadCompany and many anonymous donations keeping our fridges and freezers full!
It’s amazing to see the community come together to support one another during these hard times, especially our front-line heroes who we can’t thank enough West Kelowna Fire Fighters Association as well as the other West Kelowna-based helicopter companies Valhalla Helicopters Inc. and @WildcatHelicopters, acknowledging all of their hard work and contributions to the fire suppression efforts.
Alpine would like to give a big shout-out and thanks to our crews who have been providing non-stop support as well as on stand-by ready to help whenever needed.
